As back-to-school season arrives once again, community group LIfechangers Church and Ministries International held their annual Back to School Block Party at 100th Street and Park Ave.

The event, sponsored by The Construction Workforce Project, Cahill Strategies, State Farm Insurance, The Boys Club of New York and State Senator Brian Benjamin, raised over 300 backpacks that will be given to children in need in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Diane Cahill of Cahill Strategies was awarded a citation on behalf of the New York State Assembly by Assemblyman Robert Rodriguez of the 68th District.
